repair. restore. reflect.

every crack tells a story.

Kintsugi, or “gold joinery,” is the Japanese art of repairing chipped, cracked, or broken ceramic and porcelain pieces using only natural materials — including urushi (lacquer sap) and finishing with genuine gold (silver, etc.) powder.

Instead of hiding the broken parts, kintsugi embraces the cracks as part of the object’s story — bringing new beauty and life to what was once broken. It’s a culture that values both kindness and quiet beauty.
